Pros
The lighting is excellent, and the e-ink is clear and easy to read. Not a huge deal, though.
It charges using a micro-usb port. The reset only takes around 1 minute.
The oasis is weighted perfectly to read sitting up or laying down. The * on the side is really helpful if you read a lot of books and want to use a physical button vs clicking on the screen to move between pages.
The screen is glass–colder than a paperwhite's plastic screen. But tapping and swiping aren't as bad on my fingers. The touch screen also works very well.
Cons
The battery life is terrible compared to the paperwhite. I really wish i had not wasted so much money on a premium device which is so much worse than non-premium. Dissatisfied with this product and dissatisfied with amazon.

Easy to read quality is good and fits in my purse
Great quality and longterm use lightweight and good for anytime even in bed
The paperwhite is awkward to hold and feels cheap imo
Battery life is terrible had it two years and battery has to be charged every five days
Price
I absolutely love my kindle its cheaper than buying books and much more lightweight
You definitely can cut your price with a few adjustments
Didnt want to pay almost 300 for a kindle that the battery may not last
If your on the fence on going digital i recommend giving it a shot i got it on amazon deal day for a steal

Could have sworn i checked a box to have it shipped to me pre linked to my amazon account
Packaging/appearance
I bought an amazon cover with it that fits perfectly and wakes up the screen when its opened
The moment i pulled it out of the box i was absolutely delighted with it and not much delights me anymore

This model is superior to the other ereaders amazon offers
I have had many other kindles kindle keyboard a few paperwhites which i really liked but the oasis is my favorite by far
My paperwhite was great but this oasis is even better

Its not the best but for myself i normally read at home in bed so most times im near a charger regardless
