It would be great if the carafe had a lip for pouring but that would mean the loss of the the 12oz tumbler glass which also acts like a lid

The only problem i see with this product is that although the base of the product is strong the glass walls are pretty thin and i am always worried about cracking the glass when placing the tumbler on top of the carafe

If you have kids i would not recommend this product as the risk is too great for breakage
