Pros

This little bandana is a godsend! Keizer weighs about 75 lbs and is 8 years old. The gel is nontoxic.

We live in lake havasu where the temperature are well over 100 degrees much of the summer. Feels cool even after sitting outside in 95° heat for 20 min (in shade) he is used to a colder.

Cons

This is your average cooling bandana for your pup the cooling affect will last 5 minutes at most. Since summer in arizona lasts longer than six weeks this product is a loser for our dog.

The bandana works while it's wet, but it dried up quickly while outside in the sun. The velcro type fastener does not stay cold. Just wet material.

This is perfect for our puggle who doesn’t like to slow down when playing catch with the tennis ball or for hikes

But overall we’re happy with the results

However after reading some of the reviews i figured out how best to use this product

Packaging/appearance

She doesnt have the long thin silky hair

I have the chill out bandana in the fridge

Rehydrate the bandana and put it in a zip lock bag and back into the fridge

Competitiveness

I soak mine in water then put in the fridge in a ziplock bag to keep it cold

This has been wonderful for my cockapoo
