Pros
Great way to get power from an outlet to something with a 12-volt plug. The rectifier brick itself seems to be for something else, re-purposed for replicating a car charger. Well within amperage rating.
The adapter is very usage. Works good. Works fine. Works perfectly. Works great, seems sturdy.
Cons
Runs a compressor-cooler continuously and barely gets slightly warm. Just plugging it in tripped two different fuses in two different places. Too late to return to amazon, the seller has a better warranty.

However do your homework before buying as these chargers come in various wattage ratings

Most i believe will get the job done but one that is underpowered will take longer and it will likely overheat causing damage to the unit

The total cord length is about 8 feet it could be longer when used with certain 12v devices

Make sure you size the converter so there are a couple amps available i purchased one that was right at the draw of my cooler and it overheated so much that it shut itself down periodically

Phoned igloo and they told me they no longer provide an ac to 12 volt transformer for car frigs using the car cigarette lighter socket charger

Managed to get it working had to start low voltage then work my way up to higher
