The adapter works great but a word of caution if you are using this with an outlet in the bed of a pickup truck… the spring loaded outlet cover on my truck has quite a bit of tension and rests on any cord while plugged in

That eventually caused the cord on this adapter to go bad so i had to order a new one

From now on i will bungee the truck’s outlet cover so it doesn’t rest on the cord

But my air compressor was meant to be portable and to work off the vehicles cigarette lighter

I have a heavy duty tire inflator that is supposed to work off of the car cigarette lighter but it blew my fuses instead
