Pros
Great size, as described, wide enough for protein shakes, fits well in my yeti. I use these with my ninja 24 cup and with the pop top lid on they sit flush with the lip. Am going to use these 'smoothie straws' to hold delicate jewelry necklaces.
They seem to be very sturdy. Work well on two tiered cakes. These black ones are a little softer then the stripped ones i've used before.
Cons
These straws are undersized. They're 7/16 wide, not 1/2 wide. Not good for drinking out of it. Tried rinsing and washing with soap and then using it. The straws are thin and flimsy.

There were 4 layers of cake per tier and these were long enough that i had to cut some off
