I was able to open it and bend some metal to fix that at serious risk of doing permanent damage but after about six months the battery seemed to be totally cooked and would not hold a charge
Within a few weeks the usb plug got loose and had to be held in place with a rubber band or else no connection could be made for charging or copying files
