Price
After looking at numerous types i settled on this one for best look and cost
Packaging/appearance
Some have complained about the nylon nuts and bolts but they seem fine and sturdy to me on the assemly
I have not used the little door feature as i just remove the whole composter and spread compost at once
Long story short the holes that the lock fits into are 14” too long so the only solution for me was to use a hack saw and cut off the 14”
The lock works great i have not had a single issue with something getting into the composters
Competitiveness
Make sure your ground is even for placement else youll get a stinch lots of lil fliesgnats
I bought a different cheaper composter a few years ago

I purchased this item after waiting months for a pyramid composter that was backordered from an online garden store and a style that i had used at our last house

With that model it was definitely onehanded operation and there was no way critters would be able to lift the lid
