My recommendation if you use the diverter i purchased is to connect the plastic hose from the diverter into the connectors at the top of the barrel rather than just placing the tubing in the top of the barrel and sitting there

I ran this over the downspout securing it with wire so it would not move so the two drain in the same place

Its a shame they did not design this with a removable plug to serve the same purpose

It comes with all the various parts you need for it except diverters or outlet hoses but they are all cheap plastic
