Pros & Cons
Pros
The need for a math background is kept to a minimum, and some mathematical concepts are explained in very clear technical terms in the book. I recommend this book to anyone, and perhaps more to people who are not in the computer science/applied mathem... Read More
Did you know egyptian pharaohs’ reigns follow an erlang distribution? And it also carries another type of interesting analysis based on the described algorithms. I have the kindle version and its layout is pleasant. There are many more gems in this bo... Read More
The book explains how to cache and organize your closet based on the lru cache. It also explains the importance of sorting and tradeoffs. The book shows how to "prioritize" a task based on its difficulty.
