Pros
The cardstock is premium from us games and the colors really pop. The images are truly evocative, particularly in the large sized edition.
The thoth deck is a beautiful piece of surrealist imagery. Crowley's ideas are essential to understanding the world of magick and the occult. This deck isn’t for the faint of heart learner.
The deck seems to be more complex and richer in symbolism. The priestess's naughty bits are positioned on the front of her. The imagery, symbolism & interpretations of this deck aren’t the normal.
Cons
The cards are painfully thing and flimsy. They are so thin and of quadratic form, that it is almost not possible to shuffle them. While the symbolism is there, the art of these cards is ruined.
There are many beautiful, radiant and practical decks out there for sale. Crowley decks are not for the sensitive and/ faint hearted.
It's frustrating to pay almost 24 dollars (incl. I am extremely disappointed with what amazon llc did.

The packaging was really nice the cards were boxed inside of another box with addition fold out material
The book can be found on google books for free because it was published in the 1800s

Comparatively i think the thoth decks imagery is more interesting to analyze but this is coming from a person that has majors in psychology and english and a minor in classical studies

I think her interpretations are ok but in my opinion she doesnt spend enough time analyzing the symbolism in the cards despite advertising otherwise on the front of the book
