You do need to have a mains outlet and the cord is fairly short about 1 metre but this hasnt caused any major problems and i cant see it being something that an extension lead cant fix

Regarding ease of use plug it in stick the nozel in device that requires inflating and switch on if you get any of these steps wrong well it won’t work
