The keyboard is small but functional, the camera works well, and the vibrate feature is strong. It has a nice range of customization and can be personalized easily. Text messaging provides both inbox and conversation views.

This is not the greatest camera, but for a quick snap shot it works well. Flashlight works very well with one button. The only caveat is the camera quality.

Memory is very limited, so i was constantly forced to delete texts, pictures, and music. Poor battery life is terrible. The things that are good about it are a dealbreaker.

The 871a looks like a generic blackberry-style phone. The faux metal scratches easily, as does the faux chrome on the maneuvering ring.

This phone is noticably thicker than the z431key are ever so slightly harder to press. The * themselves are fairly small and slippery, which can make it hard to text on, especially when you have nails.

The other reviews are spot-on about the pocket dialing 911 while on screen lock. It is no laughing matter when your child makes spurious 911 calls from school. This should be recalled.
