At first i thought it was defective as it produced very low pressure

I was almost ready to start the return process when i did a google search and found that the epa is requiring the manufacturers to install flow restricters to new shower heads

I subtracted a star due to my frustration with the difficulty in removing the flow restrictor and the impossibility of removing the washer screen

I ended up having to crush the restrictor to get it out and took chunks out of the washer trying to remove the screen

Fortunately i finally noticed a spare washer in a tiny bag and the screen slid right out of that one
