I bought these to mount a high lift jack axe and shovel in my 2018 tacoma bed

These mounts are well built and priced great

I was concerned about security though so i modified the setup by adding a 3ft piece of cchannel and a padlock

I thought this was going to be some flimzy cheap steel piece
