The only minor issue ive had is that when i try to pull a keycap off the entire switch will be pulled out of the acryllic with the keycap

Packaging/appearance

Also that would require more plastic packaging hello environment

The only negative is that sometimes the switches come out of the plastic mount when trying to remove the keycap

Competitiveness

I use this more for lubing switches

It also comes with a keycap puller

Legitimate switches with a decent keycap puller

This is a good starter kit to figure out the best keyboard type for you before committing a lot of money into the wrong thing

Note that this kit does not come with the silent switch types or anything else fancier than the most common cherry keys

That had a metal frame and the key switches were not held securely which created unnecessary noise and unwanted feedback and this meant that testing did not provide very accurate feedback

When i recieved this key switch tester the blue switch would get stuck when i pressed it head on as in vertically downwards so i had to press it from an angle to avoid it sticking

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

Also a couple of the switches would pull out of the frame when i used the keycap puller to pull off the keycaps mainly the black one but the brown one also did once or twice

However ive been playing around with this thing for a couple of days pressing the keys taking on and off the keycaps and the latter issue has completely disappeared but whilst the blue switch has now stopped getting stuck completely it still feels a liiitle sticky when i bottom it out and it doesnt feel quite the same as the green one and im not talking about the actuation force im talking about the feeling of stickiness when i bottom it out so i think its a quality issue

It took a short time to figure out which was which it would have been nice if they had labelled them somehow

Minus one star because of this
