Pros

My only quam is the checkered strap. I love that this uke comes with aquila strings, as well as an extra set of aquila strings. The uke itself looks good, pretty mahogany color.

Great value for money. Comes with a chord chart and a quick start booklet. Cleaning cloth is nice, but the booklet and chord chart are.

The case is very nice. Not a flimsy gig bag, but a nice tweed padded case. It does what it needs to when carrying and storing my uke.

Action is on the high side at 4mm at the 12th fret. Now that i see that the strap feeds behind the neck, the pin placement makes much more sense.

Cons

The workmanship is not exquisite as stated. Despite the cost, junk is junk. I let the seller know, but obviously returned it.

Save your money and get a more robustly designed uke. It irks me that the potentially more gullible entry-level customers at whom this uke is marketed are being misled. The action on the 8 string is nearly impossible for someone who is quite practiced... Read More

The ukulele has a sickening smell from inside. Red stain is slopped up the sides of the somewhat dried out fretboard. There were also sharp edges to some of the fret wires.

The tone of this ukulele is nice, but sadly it's buzzing all the time! When an open string is tuned correctly it is immediately out of tune at the first fret.
