Very comfortable to wear for long periods uncoloured sound reproduction i use these in my home recording studio
I have been using akg for years and these hands down one are the best studio reference headphones on the market on this price
Great for the price i paid but improves with amplification and type of earpads used
Ive owned the first version of these overear headphones for more than a decade and theyve lasted that long with heavy use

After getting these i really wish i had just bought another set of the k550s as they were the most relaxing set of headphones to wear being lightweight with no side pressure on the ears with the softest ear covers i have ever experienced

Dont get me wrong though the k271s sound is just below the k550s quality which is fine but ear cups are really hard as are the velvet covered ones supplied as well meaning they cant be worn for more than an hour without taking them off due to the pressure on your ears and as i am a true audiophile i am quite angry with myself for buying these

You can get better sound with open headphones and more expensive closed headphones but you will be hardpressed to find the same allday comfort
