The cameras are excellent including the backup feature. And the playback feature is more streamlined and easy to read highlighted text. The dvr with full playback capabilities instantly, come on.

Bought for wife for xmas. This is how you learn loyalty and word of mouth advertising. Other than that very satisfied with akaso and warranty.

New screen seems to be working great. Works as advertised! The new firmware can be requested from the seller. As always take this with some caveat.

Cons

No longer recommend akaso cams. Night time video quality is subpar. Menu layout and response to touch is horrible. Did not fit well at all.

The screen freezes with a message that slow cars on the screen during a driving. Sometimes low battery pops up when shutting down. Had to flip the dash cam in order to see properly.

Rear camera image is reversed when view on pc(flipped left/right), the display on the screen is correct from driver's view. Noth ok ng more dangerous than merging into heavy expressway traffic.

At night all you see is a blur of headlights and can't determine how close/far someone is from you. Daytime the glare makes the mirror useless. The brightness is not autot, you have to adjust it manually.

The device become completely un-useable. Had audio but no video. Can't pick a video that's already been made and lock it.

The touchscreen sensitivity is not good and sometimes lags when using the menus

I haven’t used it long enough to see how it performs but as for the price it is great

I was amazed at the functionality of touchscreen and voice commands for the price

You can watch the videos on the device if you want to as well all around if you’re broke like me this is a steal for the money

And it’s something i didn’t want to spend a lot of money on and i didn’t want to waste money on either

So i requested a new wired cable from the seller and they sent me the cables with no charge even the shipping fee

I requested a replacement and it was promptly delivered

Had an issue with the first item shipping

Packaging/appearance

It come with a screen protector already installed

Competitiveness

The camera picture is not too close like other brands

The directions are for a different model so all the apps that are on the one i bought are a lot fewer
