I wasnt expecting them to be as bright this is a good thing as colour variable bulbs tend to suck in this regard

The problem was a poor wifi signal in the room that the lamps were to be used in at ajay’s suggestion i used a gu 10 too b22 adapter

I put the adapter and the gu 10 bulbs in a table lamp i then placed the table lamp next to the router alongside my mobile the bulbs then paired immediately
