Pros

Airtv 2 is an exceptional device that has made my life a lot easier. The dvr functionality is easy to use and works flawlessly. Picture quality is very good, just slightly worse than antenna quality.

The first one began to degrade after about two years of use to the point that the local signals were nothing more than pixelated gibberish

There is no way to distinguish between the 100 streaming channels and ota antenna based channels

I have tried many different solutions including tablo and direct connection of antenna to my tv

The setup took about 10 minutes and the picture quality is noticably better that the tablo

All in all the airtv2 combined with slingtv is considerably cheaper than any cable or satellite service available
