    Of course, if you want to make it permanent install and ever had the fan go bad, you could always hope to get a new unit and replace just the fan/motor sub-assembly from below.

    Installation was easy but due to the way it's supported the fan is not horizontal so it will be slanted after installation.

    Very quiet but the bracket to mount the fan to the beam isn't flexible.

    Drywall doesn't always lay at a perfect 90 degrees to the beam so there would've been a gap if i had used it.
