It alerts me to look around for what might be happening - cats scratching the litter, forgetting cast iron seasoning in the oven, forgetting a pot boiling over or burning.

Although i like the coway and blueair, the airdoctor has specs that rival the iq air health pro plus for a lot less money. It seems to have helped decrease transmission in the classroom. Air doctor is also very informative and helpful and agreeable.
Cons
Airdoctor air purifier smells like melting plastic. Replacement filters are almost as expensive as the units themselves.
Bloggers who endorse this product get a kickback. Purchase a basic model from costco and save yourself the headache and lies.

Last night and the air quality indicator was on blue most of the time.
Even when you are cleaning with chemicals it will let you know you have poor quality of air as it gets rid of the chemical smell.

I can hear the fan running while working in my office chair, but the noise level is very low--lower than a desktop computer running on the top of my desk.
