Cons
Only regulates pressure if air running through it. Doesn't regulate the pressure. Seems to be defective. Returning for a refund.
It says it's for paint guns, which don't typically need more than 30psi or so. I keep my hose pressure at 100psi), but once you pull the trigger, it only lets 40psi to the tool. The device only shows what pressure i have in my tank which is worthless.... Read More

I was surprised in the quality of the valve
Worked just fine and no air leakage around the regulator knob
If you set it and let go of the trigger and depress it again it doesnt return to your setting
The build quality is fantastic and it takes the guess work out of setting at the gun pressure for consistent and proper hvlp output

When you are not using air it shows the hose pressure

When you squeeze the trigger on the gun you get a burst of higher pressure air but that is normal spray paint guns have dule stage trigger just for this reason

You just leave the gun trigger at air output and only go between paint out put and not

This regulator works okay on my satajet 5000 but the problem is the inlet is substantially smaller than the inlet on my actual sata air regulator which i didnt realize until spraying with it was a noticable difference even with a high flow air fitting

Seemed like the gun was getting choked down a bit

With that being said itll still do the job but youll have to spray a bit slower for full coverage and for the price being a fraction of what a real sata air regulator costs its not bad if youre a hobbyist spraying small jobs

I bought it because i read in the reviews that the lense on the guage is glass and not plastic
