I bought this agent18 ipod classic case after the merkury innovations silicone case that came with the ipod classic i bought on ebay turned out to be worse than no protection at all it had no protection over the screen but yet had a protective layer of silicone over the clickwheel which made it difficult even impossible to scroll and i didnt really like the insten snapon clear case that i bought on amazon almost simultaneously to compare since i couldnt decide between the two because despite the listing saying it fit the 160gb ipod classics it was too big and my ipod slid around inside it

Maybe if i had other used ipods that no longer functioned and couldnt get any worse by being dropped or thrown it mightve been different

But as it stands i only have one ipod a brandnew ipod classic that i got less than a month or so ago and im not willing to risk it getting ruined to test whether itll provide enough protection if its dropped on to a hard floor or worse

Only downside is the ipod will not fit into my player dock with the case on
