Pros

Sprinkle the agar powder over the juice in a small saucepan. One teaspoon of agar with 12 ounces of water seems to work for me. Smells a little fishy when it’s raw but after microwaving until complete dissolution to clear gelly the smell disappears.

Cons

Agar agar powder is not a gelatin substitute at all. When melted onto pizza it had a distinctive algae taste.
