Pros
It has the same metal mesh and folded filter system. Works as well as any other pleated filters you can find at a hardware store.
I recently ordered these air filters and can attest, they are a great value at $31. I expect these filters to have a long lifespan. Had been using 3m brand and had them on subscribe and save almost $10 a filter.
Great! Wonderful to have some on standby. They will be astonished. I honestly hate remembering to buy them, so this was perfect.

Cons
These are flimsy filters. The frame is very flimsy and kept getting caught inside the furnace when i tried to pull it out. Shipping box was cheaply made. Although inexpensive they are not great quality.

It would be nice if they were individually packaged or in any type of packaging
One thing i didnt like is that while the box the all came in is labeled merv 6 the individual filters are not marked

These filters are better than the ones that were provided by the company that just installed our trane aircondition system
The material and construction are comparable to the filters i buy at the local bigbox store
They compare to more expensive ones i used in the past
Regardless they look just like another brand i’ve purchased at a local home store
