Pros
My 8yr old loves it. My head is 23 1/2 inches with plenty of room.
Visor opens easily with push of a button and works well. Great addition to halloween costume.
Cons
The seam down the center is crooked and the parts on front weren't even snapped together. Parts are cheap and cheaply put together. Not very practical. Really a bummer.
This item is not even remotely child-sized. Unless your 5 year old and above has a huge head i doubt it will ever fit until he gets to be of adult age.
The boom mic is for show and only plays 2 recorded messages. Another button does nothing but cause a loud, low quality voice screaming a countdown, followed by the sound of a rocket.
Helmet opens with button but then never closed. Visor mechanism is weak and unreliable.

If the sound feature quits working try pulling the headphone set out of the helmet

For the amount of money i paid for the item i didnt expect for the box to be damaged
It was pricier than i wanted it to be but in the long run it was worth it
We were at at kennedy space station and the same helmet was almost 100

I didnt like that my box where my new item i was going to give as a gift was damaged
I like that it came sealed inside the box
The helmet was shrink wrapped in plastic and securely placed in its box

The foam on the curved shoulder cutouts were a great addition for comfort but i feel that overall it could use something like foam inside to help keep it in place

Without anything inside to keep it from wobbling around it’s almost the same as putting a bucket on your head which made it a bit tricky for our son to manage

I would buy this again but my overall opinion is that the price could come down slightly to compensate for the fit adjustments

If you are small to average sized be prepared to wear something underneath to keep it stable
