Added increased range to my sensors with a very simple setup on my smartthings hub. Placed one downstairs and one upstairs. The controller is a raspberry pi 4 with a razberry 2 module.

This little lifesaver is so worth it. It’s small, unobtrusive and works. Little overpriced for the functions provided.
The performance is nearly instantaneous throughout the entire house for all of my z-wave devices. Works great for z-wave repeaters. Works well with qualifying zwave devices.
Cons
To make this work, you have to depress the action button on the device. When using the smart things app, it’s cranky to connect. I wish i could access more information about the mesh, but it is a simple device.
Only one repeater arrived. The documentation is also bad. Either the description needs to be changed or the right product shipped.

I kept having loss of connectivity with some switches and delays in actions completing due to lack of power in the 2nd floor qolsys panel

So this is a good inexpensive option if you need the signal repeated or extended
Though i wish the 2pack had been available at the time i needed these at 34 each it wasnt that bad to get the repeaters that i needed

If i knew it earlier that honeywell ultrapro outlet came out for much cheaper i would have gone with that route

Although things are mostly stable now we feel things would be completely stable if we went with another gen 6 unit

Prior to adding the repeater to my steel garage the devices in that space were pretty hit and miss

Especially the battery operated door lock on the garage door but even the hardwired switches would be unreachable sometimes
