That being said, there are huge variances in the performance of cheap ssds.

The drevo x1, for instance, is massively faster than the drevo x1 pro (i know, it's confusing).

An ongoing problem with all the cheap ssds is that, unlike samsung and crucial, they occasionally do silent swaps, replacing the internal controllers or nand being used in their ssds without changing the model name or packaging.
