Note this was done with an iphone 6s so other models might vary depending on the distance between the edge of the phone and the headphone jack as well as the distance between the headphone jack and the lightning cable

It doesnt clamp the device securely so there will be some movement when trying to use it whilst on the stand

Basic touch screen functions can be performed but pressing firmly on an iphone home button for example will result in movement and youll end up just removing the device from the stand to use it properly
