The front part of the safe where you key in the code is plastic and could be as others have noted easily smashed in with a hammer

The only problem we had with installation is that when we bolted it to the floor we tightened the tapping bolts too and the door would not close

If you are really concerned about storing your valuables and had to worry about someone breaking in and stealing your priceless diamond collection i wouldnt recommend it
