The gold is super sparkly and the red is fabulous. Not a deal breaker. There is also a tag on the back that says hear me roar, the house motto.
The back of the shoe has a solid piece that also aids in stabilization. I also like that the plastic that holds the shoe laces is build into the sole. This is the shoe my daughter wanted for her throne.
Cons

For $200, buy these shoes from a reputable store so you can return them if they break. The box was damaged, the shoes were not wrapped, the shoe laces were tied. These expensive gym shoes were delivered without a shoe box.
Total bummer. It is terrible. Don't be fooled.
