Self tapping screws prevent the need to pre-drill holes for the screws. Ended up gluing on the back and securing with 4 smaller nails. If you ever make a shelf that's just a little bigger that will be cool.

Cons

Even with stuff in the drawers the whole unit is so light it can roll around by just opening a drawer or brushing against it. What i actually hate the most is how deceiving the advertisement is.

Warehouse ship error twice in a row. Only a couple of the drawers open smoothly, the rest stick. The 360 view online shows a finished back which is not true. The picture is also misleading.

Easily soaks up water and disintegrates. The first time is tricky and unlikely to fit snugly and be sturdy.

It is true it doesn't use particle board, but very thin masonite which is ground wood pulp glued and heated and is a step down from particle board not up. You have to guess where to place the nails and they are hard to start into dense masonite.

It’s not numbered so you haven’t to look at the picture but your putting together a box frame and the repetitive 8 drawers

I was initially a little apprehensive when i opened the box as there are so many pieces but it went together easily
