It is smooth around the edges, it's not a hard edge making a corner on your finger. It could be reinforced with some sort of stronger glue.
Cons
Yea it's only $9, but i wouldn't waste your money on something that is going to not work within a week. The ring just flops depending on which way the phone is. Won't even magnetized to my dashboard magnet.
