Pros
This unit is a replacement for an older acurite unit and i’m very satisfied with it. It’s accurate, easy to set up, very aesthetically pleasing and priced fairly.
If you unplug this device with no batteries, it remembers your setting. Connectivity is strong to the exterior sensor through even cement block walls. Works either with battery or power.
It is accurate with lots more features. Very readable. Much easier, less cluttered at a glance read.
Cons
Pretty polarised screen, so can't be read from all directions. Descriptor is totally misleading. It basically turns invisible.
The indoor temp seems accurate, but the outdoor temp is why i purchased the product. Base unit temperature is several degrees out compared to consensus of other devices. It reads 7-10 degrees colder than it actually is.
The transmitter is wireless but the weather station itself is a plug in electric unit. I have to manually reset it every month or so. Batteries are only for backup to hold your settings if the power goes out.

The indoor panel is bright easy to read and has been very accurate
The forecast feature takes a while to get used to where you are and your weather patterns but is also fairly accurate
My 18 yr old acurite became unreliable even after correctly following the manufacturers 34reset34 protocol
The temperature read out tracks our old mercury thermometer

It was less expensive to buy a whole new unit than a new controller
This is a great weather station for the money but it comes with some important caveats

I contacted customer support and they shipped me a new weather station which works fine
I received the weather station and there is a problem with the clockcalendar function

Interestingly resetting the station seems to 34revert34 the station back to learning mode and the sensor readings from outside seem to be a little more accurate

Second the indoor temperature reading is affected by the screen which warms the housing of the unit a bit
