Pros

Easy to read and easy to swivel around. Works fine and seems to be accurate. I have it about 1 foot from a window and it easy to read at that distance.

Cons

Thermometer is terribly inaccurate the hotter the weather gets. Had to take it apart to reset. Not good quality, from day one the temperature always reads 10 - 25 degrees higher than the real temp.

When it is 70 degrees out, this thermostat reads 90 degrees! It's not just off by the same amount but the range can be as little as 3 to 4 degrees or as much as seven degrees.

If this is brass, it is a new kind of brass that rusts! Mine is covered in rust. The entire housing is tin. I know this because mine completely rusted. They are not magnetic, they have a mis-cut screwdriver *.
