I use earplugs and earphones a lot so i guess it should have been no surprise when i lost the hearing in one ear due to wax covering my eardrum

My ear was completely blocked with wax

On the gourth try the wax started to come out and after the sixth go it was completely clear

I have been plagued for years with ear wax buildup which can be very painful at the best of times i went to my local medical practice 2 weeks ago to get my ears syringed and came out worse than before as one of my ears had compacted wax from the mechanical pump used by the nurse
