This is very helpful for keeping your uno board with a breadboard for prototyping. Don't run the risk of your project shorting out without this setup.

After some googling i found a similar base with the screws in upsidedown so that the nut is what goes against the board not the screw head

Next i handtightened the nuts and removed the tape

If you look at my pictures youll see that the side with numbered contacts that connect to the breadboard is on the far side of the base whereas in all other bases ive seen the board is oriented the other way

It still works but you will definitely have wires going all the way across the arduino to get to the breadboard when that side should be right next to it

This board isnt worth sending back but ill probably end up getting another one that is correctly drilled in the near future
