Pros & Cons
Pros
The klipsch makes massive bass. I think the bass may be a bit tighter and cleaner than the the klipch. Listening to pit bull as a write this the bass is very good and clean.
At this price point it delivers a great experience, sounds really good, and i’m satisfied. The sub feels fast.
Cons
Power switch" is nothing more than a signal switch, it has nothing to do with shutting off the power supply. Such a rip off. Don't waste your time, these are junk.
The only way to stop the hum is by unplugging the speaker. It's like being at a club when you have a dj on too much fun powder who thinks it’s a good idea to play with volume knobs at random.
Astoundingly poor sound quality for a 12 inch sub. There's no way they are pushing 500w maybe 5. This brand lies about the wattage of their sub amps. My sub blows this one out of the water!
Now i have the hard decision of modifying an otherwise decent speaker, or just returning it and getting a better one. Ironically the speaker is the worst thing about this speaker box. The polk is a far superior product.
Highlights
Quality
The subwoofer was really easy to hook up and the sound quality is great
Very happy with the price and very happy with the sound
Look this is not an audiophile worthy product
None of those elements are studio quality
Price
A solid product for a very good price
For the price you shouldn’t realistically expect greatness
My audio system is not some dream 250k system and i was looking for a reasonably cost sub
The issue for me and most people i would expect is the cost of any 34optional34 item such as a sub
Packaging/appearance
Once it arrived i plugged it in and it worked perfectly out of the box
However acoustic audio did an excellent job at packaging the subwoofer and after a full inspection it was perfect
Competitiveness
I have this unit hooked up with edifier speakers
Finally bought a new reciever and subwolfer
Im currently using a douk phono amp and dayton audio floor speakers
