I only use the projector to watch dvd and bluray from my samsung bdc6500 over hdmi cable ive found that the better the source and the better the cable the better the image the bluray player gave a better image than my dvd player did and even the dvds looked better because the bd player sent a better processed image to the projecter the next thing is instead of using one of the pre set display mode ex video game or standard

Go to user and set it up yourself use one those thx optimiser that can be found on dvds especially the ones from disney pre set factory setting will never match the condition in you veiwing room

Where this projector really falls down is on the black level to say they are poor is generous the k11 had better blacks

I was only able to improve the black levels by switching to eco mode which also lowered fan noise which is a plus and using a silver screen which is gray and not white

The 3d feature will work only over vga at 120htz in frame sequential this i achived by using a hdmi to vga converter box i got on amazon
