The directions are poor but you can watch a video on youtube to figure it out

It would also be a great device for business professionals to use for recording important meetings client interviews and phone calls

I think that this recorders greatest feature is that regardless of what you are doing with the device at any given time ie changing settings listening to music etc the device will automatically switch to recording mode when the red record button is pressed
