Pros

The sharpness of the blade is seems pretty good after cutting through some plants with little effort. The laquer on the scabbard and handle are good.

I give this sword and it's seller a solid 8. The sword itself is quite amazing as well. All the reviews on other sites and youtube raving about its durability. For 50 bucks this sword is great.

Bought it for my little brother's birthday. Bought this for my sister for her birthday, it's awesome. I wanted a shirasaya like the one zatoichi uses in the last movie, so i ordered this one.

Cons

I'm highly disappointed in the way amazon handled the whole situation. I suspect the seller ran out of the original sword that everyone was giving positive reviews and decided to ride the gravy train by quietly switching to a different sword.

The big drawback on the blade is it is not sharp. Hitting anything might break the glue loose and send the blade flying across the yard. The blade is nothing special.
