The evert-9 is well constructed from good quality materials and functions well mechanically. It's sturdy and the coverage is excellent. Fabric looks and feels very durable, too.

Works very well up and down. Seems very well vented for wind.
Cons
Umbrella is still usable, but has a decided droop where the 2 ribs were bent. The umbrellas are fine except that the pin in the tilt mechanism works its way out during even the lightest of winds. Would not purchase this umbrella again or recommend it.... Read More

The only issue is that it doesnt take a great amount of wind to dislodge it even with the vent at the top

My wife likes to leaves it up alone in windy weather so it got flung across the patio and broke in its second year
