Before the problem was diagnosed they were very responsive and gracious responding quickly with information and informed me of the warranty

All you have to do is write the measurement without the minus sign

At meal times i sit the bowl container etc on the scale and hit the zero button as stated above

When you first get your scale out of the box flip it over to remove the tab that prevents battery contact

To tare just push the zero button

If the scale is not used in 3 minutes it turns itself off to conserve battery power
