Pros
The vent is sturdy, it is metal grade and absolutely gorgeous. Decided to add tile to our front hallway. The tile is gray so this silver register matched perfectly.
Cons
It's a shame because the grilles are beautiful but the hardware is garbage. They break incredibly easily and that's exactly what happened to them.
Only the top of the vent is metal, the rest is flimsy plastic. Metal face plate is not very thick. It’s a matter of time and hot/cold cycles before the plastic becomes brittle and falls apart.

This is meant for the floor but if you want to use for the ceiling you just have to pre drill the holes
