Neither one worked smoothly by any means would have to stick something in to push the fins open

I had to drill new holes to put these up other than that would have been easy to install

I purchased three other sidewall registers on amazon and returned them because they either werent quite the right size the steel air duct inside the the walls was interfering with the screws or they were flawed one was scratched another had a panel that had been displaced

Please make sure to measure your vent opening because the width is exactly 14 possibly 13 78

The old vents were in great shape but the holes in the ceiling were totally stripped out

Couldnt find thus particular model with the box style knob if tgat is what ut is called at the local hardware store
