While i don't see myself diving head first into the spicy romance genre in general, @authormaxmonroe definitely has me wanting more books like this with laugh out loud humor.
Brook baker is a writer and a serious romantic! In this story, real life unfolds very much like the book brooke wrote about herself and her crush, chase, her editor.
Chase is swoon worthy and literal perfection. Chase is such a patient man who was made to compliment her. But theirs one tinsy little problem,chase finds his "flaws" flaws meant for clive.
The fmc is quirky and sometimes says the most cringy things when she's nervous. From the quirkiness to the witty banter, to the adorably super service dog, benji. Who else wants a superhero doggo?
