It feels a little flimsy at first, but if you clamp it using their method it is just sturdy enough. The only tiny flaw is that the clamp could have been lined with rubber for a better grip of the mic stand.

I'm pretty sure that within 2-3 trips in the car to gigs and this was going to break. The product is poorly engineered. This very cheaply made as well.

Stand has no teeth so depends on being very tight. It's difficult to loosen. Does not fit samsung galaxy tab a in the portrait position. The stand slides up & down &amps; all around.

Plastic clamp is not very sturdy. Clip cannot maintain position on a boom stand, so ipad ends up hanging down at any angle it chooses. The xy locking mechanism is plastic and cannot be tightened enough to hold anything but very light items.

For 18 bucks i was not expecting too much. Cheep plastic. The entire thing is made of plastic, and looks to be very flimsy. The holder along with my ipad fell off the stand in 5 minutes.
