These dusk to dawn relays are the right thing to spend your money on. Long lasting compared to other type or relays. The light sensor draws significantly more power than you'd expect to run, and as such depleted by 12v battery in a matter of hours.

    When testing in a dark room it takes about 4 seconds to turn a light on then about 2 seconds to turn the light off

    Not sure how water resistant it is because it is mounted under my pick up truck bed side lip where you would mount the payload locks through so it get some moisture but not all

    It seems this must be a generic china sourced device that is marketed under quite a few names

    In the box there were no installation instructions or ideal wiring guide you so have to take a guess on which leads are for what
